HARVEST PUMPKIN FESTIVAL
IN ARMSTRONG SPALLUMCHEEN

The Harvest Pumpkin Festival was created in 2000 to bring the community together in a season that is as enjoyable to us as the summer months, and now offers an opportunity for visitors to see that we are more than sun and summer.

Armstrong Spallumcheen has deep roots in agriculture and community - and that is what this festival celebrates. It is a great place to bring your family and friends for fun and there is something for everyone at this event. The event has grown to showcase not only the key event held Thanksgiving Weekend, but activities and events throughout the month of October.

We had a record-breaking pumpkin at the 2024 Harvest Pumpkin Festival!

The 24th Annual Harvest Pumpkin Festival saw Jordan Abbate’s pumpkin weighing in at a massive 1408 pounds this past Saturday during Family Day at the Armstrong Fairgrounds!

In the youth category, Arthur Purdon’s pumpkin hit 108 lbs.

Winner in the adult category will receive $500 while the youth winner will receive $100 thanks to the Armstrong Kin Club.

Early bird registrants were entered to win a $50 gift certificate donated by Armstrong Regional Co-operative.

Big thanks to the Armstrong Kin Club for sponsoring and to all who helped make it happen. Special shoutout to Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Rec for moving the monster pumpkin!
