The Allan Brooks Nature Centre is hosting BC Culture Days at their lovely site! The event invites painters and artists to come to our centre and paint “en plain air” (denoting the 19th-century style of painting outdoors), with a chance to win prizes in one of four categories: Experienced, Emerging, Youth and People’s Choice!

This event will engage the local and provincial community and create awareness of the artists working in the North Okanagan, as well as highlight the incredible beauty of this endangered grassland habitat.

This is a FREE event sponsored by the Arts Council of the North Okanagan and The Allan Brooks Nature Centre. Saturday, October 7 from 8-3:30pm. Artists can come register on the day-of, and choose a spot along the trail for the day. At 2pm, the artists will bring their art up to the centre for judging and refreshments.
